Mt. Cannibal & District Preservation Group Committee comments on Hanson's response

The committee is dissatisfied with Hanson's response as many of the questions and concerns put forward by the committee and the local community have not been answered fully or not at all. The Committee have also requested copies of the reports contained in the original Feasibility Study undertaken 7 years ago. These reports address all the key areas of concern including Environment, Heritage, Water, Traffic etc... and although completed some years ago, and could now be subject to revision, are of great interest to the residents. The Hanson Project Manager Daniel Fyfe had agreed to provide these reports to the Committee by late July, but to date, they have not been forthcoming. The Committee will continue to pursue Hanson on behalf of the community.
